Hey hi hello,
|
What's a good blog post without at least some(nine) self shots? |
I've fifty plus (recorded) clicks on my previous blog post on #twentyonethings, but sadly only one person has responded (& I don't know who it is!). I'm still looking forward to more ideas so if you read this, please please please scroll down or go to the previous page to contribute! Seriously, I welcome everyone.
Anyways, I recently went to Picknik in Publika, for Anas' twentieth birthday. The atmosphere was alright, pretty loud as there was another cafe nearby which had a more happening crowd, haha. The food was wildly expensive but tasted amazing, the portions wildly tiny. Would recommended it if you've got a nice fat wallet and an easily satisfied appetite. Nevertheless, I loved the people I was with.

So lucky I'm surrounded by such beautiful girls heheh |

My two favorite kets. |

Believe it or not, this is how we actually behave. |

This one is just a front for the camera. |

The gorgeous birthday girl. |
Some other updates:
- Added an Ask.fm widget onto my sidebar for you sneaky people to satisfy your curiosity. Go on. I won't bite.
- Managed to only spend 311.70rm on day-to-day needs in February, with sixty-five percent of that spent on food. Quite an achievement, considering I used over 400rm in January. This of course, excludes my recent Penang trip and Chinese New Year shopping (yes, I'm quite the cheat.)
- I recently added "go for a run/swim on Sunday" to my weekly priorities list, aside from cleaning my room and #twentyonethings, we'll see how that goes! Haha.
- Hillary, Rachel & I came up with a few things to add onto #twentyonethings. After a few ideas, it started to look more and more like a bestfriend bucketlist, but hey, that's alright. Some of the things we thought of were hosting a garage sale, make tie-dye t-shirts, get a Brazilian wax for the first time (hellsyea) and run a marathon (already on my goal-list!). Things are looking up.
Before I leave, I just wanted to share this with everyone. When I first read it, it became the driving force behind #twentyonethings, and hopefully sharing this with you will inspire you to do great things too :)
“It’s never to late, or in my case too early, to be whoever you want to be. There’s no time limit, stop whenever you want. You can change or stay the same; there are no rules to this thing. We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you make the best of it. And I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you never felt before. I hope you meet people with a different point of view. I hope you live a life you’re proud of. If you find that you’re not, I hope you have the strength to start all over again.”

Till the next post.
Au revoir, mes amis.
